Used Cooking Oil

Used Cooking Oil (UCO), collected from restaurants, food industries, and households, undergoes a series of steps such as filtration, purification, and refining to remove impurities and moisture. Once processed, UCO is mainly converted into biodiesel. A valuable by-product of this conversion is glycerin, which can be further refined for use in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and soaps. In addition, processed UCO can serve as a raw material for soap and detergent manufacturing, lubricants, bio-based chemicals, and even bioplastics, turning waste into valuable resources that support a circular economy.
